The incidence of diabetes in the UK has reached epidemic proportions. Healthcare assistants (HCAs) and assistant practitioners (APs) will regularly encounter people who have been diagnosed with diabetes, and those who have the symptoms of diabetes but who have not been formally diagnosed. This series aims to enable HCAs and APs to improve their knowledge and understanding of diabetes.
