How true this is, on so many levels! I start my new post as HCA Adviser for the RCN in November, taking over from Paul Vaughan. Paul has worked tirelessly on behalf of healthcare assistants (HCAs) and assistant practitioners (APs) for many years. I realize that Paul will be a hard act to follow, but he has prepared the ground thoroughly, and I aim to build on all the positive work that has already been undertaken.
